TheEastar.SR Ultra-Turn Series Turning Centers set a new benchmark in levels of speed, performance and accuracy. Ultra Fast Acceleration and Rapid Traverse Rates, coupled directly with a Servo Driven Turret slash non-cutting times.

The maximum recommended RPM of the spindle is 5,000 using a collet chuck or similar work holding device capable of safe operation at these speeds. (Custom spindle power packages are available as an option on request.) The incorporation of super precision spindle bearings allow the headstock to generate superb surface finishes and repeatability due to relentless efforts to control all aspects of thermal growth.

The ample cutting power of the Model SNC160 is complimented with the machine’s ability to provide Ultra Precise Positioning and Contouring through the use of heavy duty, ultra precision grade ball screws which are also coupled with absolute servo motors and controls. NSK Model K-1 equipped ball screws are employed and equipped with Eco-Style Lubrication Packs which eliminates the contamination of cutting fluids with way oils.
