Frequently asked question #6: Who is going to service and support equipment purchased from CyberCNC and its agents? Without competent service and support, the very best equipment is useless. Your purchase of any CyberTec® machine tool entitles you to the utmost in start-up assistance and after the sale support . Our traffic department will coordinate arrival of the machinery to your shop, either shipping the machine directly to your facility or to your trusted, local rigging company. Before the arrival of the machine tools, a floor plan including detailed foundation drawings will be sent to your authorized representative. Included with the drawing will also be a listing of the required electrical and air sources required for your equipment and listings of required fluids. At your written request, we will also forward a complete set of manuals for your reference.
Further service and support is provided on a regional basis by qualified service organizations and representatives. More specifically, the CNC control warranty is serviced by the manufacturer directly. We provide all information to the OEM control builder to store on their servers for easy access by service technicians from anywhere in the world. Of course, this does not mean the CyberCNC cannot or will not service a control problem. Often just a phone call to us can resolve both control and mechanical difficulties. The mechanical service, installation and warranty on the machines is provided by ourselves or the local certified technician in order to resolve your problem quickly, often the same day. We have entered into a service and support contract with the regional technical organization where your machine ships to. They are trained specifically on our equipment and we also provide them with a reasonable quantity of common service parts to keep in their stock to eliminate any needless delivery delays.
Often, these service organizations also provide territorial sales of our equipment as well. We try to maintain different models of our machine tools for their showroom needs and demonstration purposes. These territorial sales offices must also have in-house engineering and application capabilities to qualify for such status.
Please remember that CyberCNC originally got its start by reconditioning used CNC machines and is a major supplier of machine tool parts on an international basis. We know that when your machine is down you are losing money, reputation, and the chance of future business relationships. We are determined to not let such trouble occur for your company. |
